The Taste of Oakville 2008    While enjoying a nice bottle of wine, it’s a good sign if you see ‘Napa’ on a bottle. What if the label says both ‘Napa’ and ‘Oakville’? Then you are in for a treat. Oakville is one of the most prized appellations of Napa Valley, with the most notable varietal coming out of this region being the ever-famous Cabernet Sauvignon.    The Taste of Oakville is a private event that is special for a number of reasons. First, you get to try wines that are nearly impossible to buy such as Screaming Eagle, Harlan Estates, and Dalla Valle. Second, you get to rub elbows with the actual winemakers and proprietors of these fine establishments. Finally, it’s one of the rare occasions that you can taste so many of the best wines from the Napa Valley. Cheers!
